Official Fan Zone in Lviv is located in the heart of the city near the Krushelnytska Lviv Opera and Ballet - on Svobody Avenue.

The area of Fan Zone is more than 20 thousand square meters. It will be able to accommodate 27 thousand spectators.

There will be:

• Scene and a large screen to watch the matches
• Media Center for journalists
• Fans area
• First aid zone
  
• Zone for selling sports suveniars and food
• Fun zone
• In sanitary area will be installed 15 module toilets with centralized water supply and sewerage.

However, the Lviv Fan Zone is going to be a place attractive not only for the football fans. At least, 3 of Lviv annual festivals will be held during the UEFA EURO 2012™. One of them, The Lviv Beer festival loved by locals and visited by tourist, will have special activities in the Lviv Fan Zone. Besides that, thematic days dedicated to the culture of the countries, whose teams will play in Lviv, Host countries (Poland and Ukraine) and host cities will be held.

One of the days will be dedicated to the Annual Lviv Ethnic Festival “Ethnovyr”, where all the visitors will have the opportunity to see the historic European dances and listen to authentic music.  The Fan Zone will become a place, where both tourists and fans will be able to celebrate the biggest football feast had ever taken place in Lviv.

Safety and Security are the most important issues concerning the Fan Zone in Lviv. The UEFA EURO 2012 Fan Zone is to be equipped with 3 emergency exits, besides 3 the main ones. You can receive free medical assistance at the first aid post located in the fan zone. The Fan Zone is also monitored by volunteer medical foot patrols. If you need hospital treatment, which will be decided by the medical staff, an ambulance will be waiting to transfer you to the nearest hospital.

We are eager to make the Lviv Fan Zone disabled-friendly. With their needs in mind, 3 entrances will be prepared allowing disables guest to enter the fan zone comfort. A disabled toilet for guests will be located within the fan zone.

Remember that no banned items - weapons or other dangerous objects, explosives, fireworks, fire-hazardous materials, alcoholic beverages, narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances may be brought into the area of a mass event such as the Fan Zone. Entrance into the Fan Zone is only allowed after inspection of clothing and bags.
